Bulk Water Purchasing

The City offers prepaid, self-serve stations for our bulk water customers. These are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (closed during winter). This bulk water fill station provides potable water from the City water distribution system via a 2.5" male Camlock connection.

All users must have an approved customer bulk water account, minimum of one truck, an access code per truck and a prepayment before using the system.

The bulk water rate is $3.70 per cubic meter. Please refer to the Water Bylaw under Resources below.

The bulk water services program collects personal information under the authority of Section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) and is managed in accordance with the provisions of FOIP. Personal information may be used and shared with external services provides for registration, administrative, and billing program purposes. If you have any questions about the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information, please contact the City’s Utilities Manager at 780-459-1557.

When logging in to or applying for a Flowpoint account, you will be transferred from the City of St. Albert website to that of an external service provider. 

Station Locations

The portable bulk water operating stations are located in the following locations:

  • Bulk Water Station 1: South Riel on Richardson Drive (located east of Ray Gibbon Drive at LeClair Way) - Closed as of November 15, 2024
  • Bulk Water Station 2: Element Drive North (Between Ernest Drive and Evermore Crescent behind St. Albert Dodge)  Closed as of November 15, 2024
  • Bulk Water Station 3: Jack Kraft Facility (7 Chevigny Street) - Open until November 24, 2024 (weather permitting)
