Fall Program Guide
For swimming, for fitness, for fun - we're here for you! Registration is now open for all fall fitness, recreation and aquatics programs with the City of St. Albert.
Winter 2021 programs with the City of St. Albert will be available to view online November 12, with registration dates as follows:
- Early registration opens on November 18 for St. Albert residents (aquatics only) and Servus Place annual members
- General registration opens on November 25

thanksgiving day long weekend family and lane swimming
Warm up from the chill and have splashing family fun this Thanksgiving Day long weekend! Family and lane swimming is available during all operating hours at our pools.
Fountain Park Recreation Centre
- Saturday, October 10 from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Sunday, October 11 from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Monday, October 12 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Landrex Water Play Centre at Servus Credit Union Place
- Saturday, October 10 to Monday, October 12 from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Make sure to plan ahead and book your swim time for both locations.
Before visiting our facilities, read about all the modifications put in place so you can safely gather for play, connection, and healthy activity. Limited capacity and physical distancing restrictions apply to align with provincial guidelines.
Parks and Trails
There truly is no better place to slow life down and rejuvenate your spirit than in one of our captivating parks! St. Albert has over 100 park locations you can explore with the family that feature accessible options and amenities, so everyone can enjoy spending time in them. Activity ideas include:

Fun Fact: the City of St. Albert has a tree count of over 65,000 and was recognized as a tree cities of the world in 2019!
New! coal mine park
Visitors will appreciate an immersive nature experience in our newest City park in Erin Ridge North! This park is designated as a Significant Natural Area and features a pollinator garden, natural forested area/walking trails, and interpretive signage.
No matter where you live in St. Albert, you'll have easy access to an off-leash area specially made for the fur-legged friends in your family! We are proud to offer two designated off-leash dog parks, 18 off-leash sites, and nine off-leash boarded rinks that are spread out across the City.
You'll be in awe at the vastness of our trail system and left inspired by the beautiful adventure it will take you on! One of our favorite routes begins at the Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park and travels along the Sturgeon River to Kingswood Park. Along the way you'll pass scenic areas like Big Lake, Lions Park, St. Albert Botanic Park and many others!
