Canada Day presented by the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert

On July 1, the City of St. Albert will be offering a day of activities and events to the public in celebration of Canada Day. See below for ways you can participate! Please note, the City is looking into alternative dates and locations to host a firework display. Please stay tuned for more details.

Canada Day activities are back with exciting and safe ways for the community to celebrate together and share their Canadian spirit!

  • From 12 - 4 p.m., The City of St. Albert's Roaming Rec Crew will be indoors at Servus Place in the Tudor Vet Hospital Field House handing out Canada Day swag.
  • Fizzlewit’s Fairy Finding Tour: Search for hidden magical creatures and whimsical wee-folk in downtown St. Albert!
  • Trail tales hosted by the St. Albert Public Library featuring Canadian authors will be placed along the Sturgeon River, beside St Albert Place.
  • Show your Canadian pride by decorating yourself, your dog, bike, scooter or kayak in red and white and share a picture to social media with #stalbert.
  • The International Children’s Festival’s #40DaysofPLAY activities remain online for families to enjoy all summer long! Let your creativity and artistic talents fly!
