Canada Day 2019
St. Albert Celebrates Canada Day presented by True North Heating and Cooling is a time for family and friends to come together and celebrate our great country! Come dressed in red and white and join the St. Albert community for fun that lasts all day. City parks, facilities, and historical sites will see a variety of events, allowing residents of all ages and interests to celebrate this historic anniversary.
All the events are located along or near the Red Willow Trail System, so residents can bike or walk to the event if they would like to take advantage of our wonderful trail system! Event goers can enjoy activities, games, food, and more from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Riel Recreation Park; parking is available on site or the public can use Park and Ride for no cost. In the evening, a concert at St. Albert Place from 7-10:30 p.m. will fill downtown St. Albert with melodies that will have people dancing and singing. The celebrations will end with the always popular fireworks display presented by the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert, which will rocket off from Mission Park at 11 p.m. See below for full schedule details.
