Competition Pool
Train for an upcoming competition or simply swim for a healthier you in this 25-metre pool. Up to eight lanes are available for use every day. This pool is ideal for swim meets and events as it also has a judges/officials platform and bleachers for spectators.
Climbing Wall
Climb to new heights at Fountain Park Recreation Centre on the climbing wall! This new amenity is in the Leisure Pool and can be used during public swim times. No safety ropes needed here! Climb as high as you can go, then jump off into the clear blue below.
Water Feature
Water play feature intended for younger users featuring a slide, spray features and more water fun!
Multipurpose Court
Challenge your friends to a match in St. Albert’s only convertible Racquetball, Squash or Wallyball court. Reservations are accepted one week in advance; call 780-459-1553 to book.
Multipurpose Rooms
We have two spacious, air-conditioned rooms each available with a fridge, freezer, sink and microwave.
Pre-School Playground
Open from 8am-8pm daily, children aged 6 months to 6 years will love this exciting and colourful indoor play space. The playground is designed to promote motor skill development and includes soft play structures, tumble mats and more. Indoor footwear is recommended.
Sauna and Steam Room
Relax your muscles from head to toe, allowing your mind to fully unwind with the calming heat of the steam room and sauna
Community Lounge
Take a break and refuel with a snack from our convenient vending machines, offering a great selection of tempting treats, including healthy options and coffee - perfect for unwinding after a workout or lesson.
Small Pool
Babies, toddlers, and small children will have a blast playing and learning to swim in the warm water of the small pool. Plus for extra fun, there are slides and water jets along an underwater bench.
Leisure Pool
Great fun and adventure await! Explore the island and cove to find a series of water jets and sprays, take a turn on the slide, make a splash off the diving board, or scale up the climbing wall and dive off from the top. The pool is also wheelchair accessible.
Whirlpool
Ease into the warm water and feel your tension melt away. The whirlpool has wheelchair ramp access and is a varied depth for all ages.
Universal Change Room
Fountain Park Recreation Centre features two gendered change rooms as well as a Universal Change Room.
These are inclusive solutions that meet the needs of a variety of users who require more privacy, gender anonymity, accessibility, assistance, or space.
