Tennis is a great way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors in St. Albert! The City is proud to offer 18 courts throughout the city for residents to practice their drop shot.
In addition to tennis, the City is proud to offer 18 pickleball courts! There are six courts located at Larose Park and twelve courts located at Alpine Park. Pickleball is fun for all ages and is a great sport to play with the family.
The St. Albert Tennis Club offers tennis lessons in the community and has priority use of the Mission tennis site from April 15 to October 15. There are posted public times at the Mission site
As a courtesy to neighbours, please use quiet paddles and the south end when playing at the Alpine Park pickleball courts.
Facility hours are 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. daily. All courts open as of April 9, 2024.

Tarmac Areas
Feeling up for a game of outdoor basketball or ball hockey? Maybe you want to practice your hula hoop, skip rope and hopscotch skills! St. Albert has two tarmac areas located at Erin Ridge Park (Erin Ridge Drive) and Deerbourne Park (Deerbourne Drive) that are perfect for these fun activities. The tarmac areas feature basketball hoops, so you will need to provide any other equipment. The use of the tarmac areas is available on a first-come basis, so please share the space if others want to use it.
Spontaneous Use Hours
Tarmac areas are available for use from 5:00 am - 11:00 pm, as identified in the Parks Bylaw.
