Community Group Support

The City of St. Albert’s Community Recreation team is pleased to provide support services to local not-for-profit recreation organizations. These services help create and maintain healthy and self-sustaining community groups. 

Support services are provided through the team of Community Recreation Coordinators (CRC). A CRC is assigned to work with each group to support them in the following ways: 

1. Community Group Development Support

Support to increase organizational effectiveness and health so groups can effectively meet identified goals and objectives.

Help guide the completion of community groups’ capital projects, programs, services and initiatives

  • Budget and funding guidance
  • Service provider referrals and resources

Capital Projects Support

  • Guide groups through all project phases
  • Liaise with relevant City of St. Albert departments
  • Facilitate approval process

Community Group Partner Agreements

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
