St. Albert is fortunate to have many designated off-leash areas where dogs and their owners can meet, exercise and socialize.

To keep St. Albert’s designated off-leash areas safe and comfortable for everyone, follow the guidelines in Animal Bylaw 11/2013. Always ensure you know the boundaries of the off-leash area; dogs must be on a leash when entering or leaving an off-leash area.

Remember, some dogs are not ready for the excitement of off-leash areas. Make sure you know when your dog is becoming uncomfortable, overwhelmed or excited.
