General Booking Information

Most school groups purchase wristbands to go swimming in our fun and fabulous Landrex Water Play Centre. The wristband is purchased at the front membership desk on the date of your school visit. Please note: Servus Place does not invoice for wristbands. Payment may be made at the desk using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cash or cheque.

The wristband also allows use of any other “public use” or shared area of the facility – including gym court #1, the playpark (suitable for up to 8yrs) and the leisure ice pond (seasonal). The other option is to book a private space for use (eg: gym, ice, field, room - **extra fees apply). This would be a separate cost from the wristband to go swimming, however it is quite nice for large school groups to have a space for their own group that does not have to be shared with other visiting school groups or the general public. Schools must bring their own equipment for any gym use.

Once we have received your school booking form, you will be contacted and an email with your booking confirmation attached will be sent to you. Once you have received this booking confirmation, please read over the details to ensure all the information, including dates and times, are correct. It is always good to bring this confirmation on the date of your visit.

Prices:

  • 2 to 12 yrs - $6.00
  • 13 to 17 yrs - $8.00
  • Supervisors for ratio - Free
  • Extra supervisors above ratio - $10.50 (adult); $8.00 (seniors)

Ratios

Landrex Water Play Centre adult to child ratios:

  • Age 1 year 1:1
  • Age 2 years 1:2
  • Age 3 years 1:3
  • Age 4 years 1:4
  • Age 5 years 1:4
  • Age 6 years 1:4
  • Age 7 years 1:4

8 years and older - there must be 1 designated teacher for each area who is actively supervising. It is recommended for ages 8 to 10 years to have additional supervision available. This ratio varies depending on the size of group and their swim ability. In regards to student’s ages 8-12 years, aquatics staff may require supervisors to swim.

Lunches

When eating lunch at the facility, school groups are welcome to make their way upstairs and eat in a section of our bleachers. We ask that the area is left in the condition in which it was found originally – any clean up, such as garbage, please ensure it is picked up and put into the garbage bins. If there are any spills, just notify our staff so that we can call janitorial to wipe up.

You may also book a room for private use at an additional charge if required.
