When these chakras are open, the Prana flows through the body easily and helps maintain an energetic homeostasis, in turn leading to physical and emotional benefits. Discover the seven principle energetic centers of your body and how they impact your life. Learn each chakra's associated color, gland and qualities and how you can find tune your sensitivities to the chakras to promote physical, mental and energetic health. This class will be rooted in the holistic teachings of yoga but is suitable for all levels of yoga participants.

Intro to Olympic Weightlifting Workshop
Learn the safe progression and technique of Olympic Lifting. Lifts include the Clean & Jerk, and the Snatch. These power and strength movements will help you challenge your current programming and also give you the knowledge and responsibility to have key access to the Olympic platforms. Participants will learn how to execute lifts, bail safely, and learn the sport's ettiquette.

Whether you're an athlete or enjoy working out, your body will thank you for enrolling in this Joint Mobility Clinic. Explore the range of motion in your joints, and learn to prepare your joints for activity, creating a strong and dynamic pre-workout warm-up and post-training stretching routine. These mobility drills, strength exercises, and stretches will help to prevent injuries while training, work through limitations, and translate into better performance in your activity. Push the boundaries of your body, open your mind, and see how you were made to move!
Learning to Breath- Yoga Workshop
The respiratory system is unique in that it is both involuntary and voluntary. Learn about this amazing process we take for granted w each breath and discover easy to employ breathing techniques to control energy, promote a good night's sleep and invite peace and clarity.
Relax and Renew
Join us in this meditative workshop to help the body and mind renew and rejuvenate. Explore yoga postures and supported recline poses with props to decrease muscular tension and stress. You will then relax further with meditations and breathing exercises. No previous yoga experience is required to participate in this gentle self-healing practice.
Roll and Release
Have you seen a foam roller, but are unsure as to how to use it? The use of Small Ball Therapy and Foam Rolling is a self-care method used to free muscles and myofascia. With distinct applications, the use of traction and body weight, release chronically tight muscles and stimulate the nervous system. Followed by a series of postures to help increase flexibility, leave this workshop released and renewed! Please bring a waterbottle.
Yoga Fundamentals Workshop 3- The Art of Balance
Workshop 1 & 2 are not pre-requisites for Workshop 3. The final workshop will examine balancing poses within the yoga practice. Students will learn about the importance of posture and setting your roots when building standing asanas. You will use various props in this practice and we will investigate ways in which to get into the poses safely. This is not a flow style class. This workshop is suitable for students who have very little to no yoga experience, as well as students with a yoga practice who want to fine-tune their current practice. Bring your mat and sense of humour.
Deepen your yoga experience by entering a state in which the body is completely relaxed but not asleep. In this state, the practitioner becomes systematicallly and increasinly aware of the inner world by following a set of instructions communicated by the intructor. This state of consciousness is different to meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. Deeply relax and heal physically, mentally and emotionally as you take time out to connect, breathe and harness your natural wisdom.
