What's Happening

As part of the City of St. Albert’s Spruce Up St. Albert program, Weed Warriors teaches community members of all ages how to identify invasive weeds, safe removal processes and supports the growth of native plant species. Invasive weeds often compete with native plants, affecting biodiversity in our natural areas. This negatively impacts many living organisms that rely on native plants for food and homes in our ecosystems.

You are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 25, 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the St. Albert’s Historic River Lots at 2 Meadowview Dr. for a unique learning opportunity. Snack, beverages & tours of the historic site will be provided.

The City of St. Albert is committed to protecting and restoring biodiversity in our community’s natural areas.
