What's Happening

The City of St. Albert and the Alberta Native Bee Council are proud to present Buzzing with Knowledge: Native Bees 101”, a free virtual webinar on May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in recognition of World Bee Day.

We're excited to welcome Ilan Domnich, Native Bee Stewardship Specialist and entomologist from the Alberta Native Bee Council, as our special guest speaker.  In this webinar, Ilan will guide us through an engaging session on Alberta’s native pollinators. We’ll explore their incredible diversity and how they differ from managed bees like honeybees. With pollinator populations declining, it’s more important than ever to learn simple, effective ways to support these essential species. Learn how you can help create a future for bees and biodiversity alike!

There will also be time for a Q&A session following the presentation.

Join us and help support our native pollinators.
