What's Happening
It’s time to SLAM! Join us for the first ever Amplify poetry slam, SLAMplify and get ready to be wowed with wise, wild and wacky words from your favourite up and coming poets from grade 7 to age 21. Warm up your snapping fingers for this interactive event that showcases the power of words. With special guest judges and featuring a headlining performance by Titilope Sonuga. Amplify provides year-round opportunities for young leaders and artists to dream, try and succeed by amplifying the creativity in our community. The program provides arts development opportunities, organized by youth, for youth in Grade 7 to age 21. The organization’s events, activities and projects are directed by the Amplify Advisory Committee--a group of peers that ensures each program is fresh, fun and connects with the young residents of St. Albert.
