Bylaw 08/2022 - TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the City of St. Albert, in the Province of Alberta, has on April 19, 2022 given first reading to Advertising Bylaw 08/2022 which, upon final passage and approval, would provide for alternative methods of advertising proposed bylaws, resolutions, meetings, public hearings, and other decisions and actions that are legally required to be advertised, and would delegate to the Chief Administrative Officer the authority to set public hearing dates in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Government Act.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that, unless a petition of the electors for a vote on Advertising Bylaw 08/2022 is presented in accordance with section 231(4) of the Municipal Government Act the Council may, in accordance with sections 230(1) and 606.1(3) of the Municipal Government Act, hold the Public Hearing, which is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Monday, August 15, 2022 and subsequently pass the Advertising Bylaw 08/2022.
