Grab your chance to catch some of the rising stars of the local and international music scene while you can! Join the young artists of Amplify and Cristian de la Luna – artists standing out from the crowd, or in the middle of the huge crowds clambering to see them! Fresh voices, thoughtful lyrics, and incredible musicianship characterize these artists who are influencing, changing, and defining the current music scene. Come support the talent of St. Albert. 

Amplify
Gathering a vibrant collection of St. Albert’s young musicians, The Return Of Amplify will assemble some of the region's top emerging artists in the genres of folk, country, and indie-pop for an evening of inspiring new music.  Sharing original work, this talented crew of singer-songwriters will collaborate on each other’s songs, adding musical depth, moving harmonies, and earthy guitar soundscapes, as sunset falls across the Arden Plaza Series stage. With a few familiar covers for good measure, join us for this playful night of musical camaraderie where we introduce St. Albertans to some of the City’s most exciting new voices.

Amplify is a youth arts and leadership development program that organizes inclusive events and activities for youth to express their truest sense of identity through the arts. Run by youth for youth, the program seeks to empower young people to explore their artistic potential while at the same time cultivating a sense of purpose and belonging within their day-to-day lives. By creating opportunities for success, Amplify develops resiliency in youth, giving them the tools they need to overcome the pressing social issues within their generation. 

Cristian De La Luna

Cristian de la Luna's pop-Latin-folk music is both contagious and inviting. This versatile artist combines the simplicity of folk storytelling, Caribbean percussion, and the jazzy warmth of brass instruments. Deeply rooted in his Colombian roots, he explores the four corners of his heart through the depth of emotions to the playful naivety of our childhood. Cristian has two albums to his credit, both in Spanish and French. His performances are endearing and captivating.
