Trunk Base of Trees and Damage
Request #
IR-23-15
I have noticed considerable, repetitive damage (from snow clearing, grass cutting and grass trimming) to the bark at the trunk base of trees which is causing them stunted growth or to die prematurely. What can be done to avoid this damage, what are options and best practices and cost to eliminate damage and benefits due to reduced tree replacement cost?
