Private Company Garbage Dumpsters

In Reil business park private company garbage dumpsters are being placed on Public City boulevard land, not per City bylaw 18-2024 3.17. This has been reported however the practice continues. Please advise what can be done to correct this. ( issue was identified during the May 13 business mixer )

The Planning and Development Department is currently responding to the complaint. As a rule, the Department does not publicly discuss details regarding complaints or ongoing investigations beyond acknowledgement of said complaint.

Based on standard procedures for complaint-driven inquiries regarding St. Albert’s Land Use Bylaw (LUB), the City of St. Albert relies on the public, staff, and Council to report such issues. Addressing LUB compliance complaints is a standard activity for the Development Branch.
